About us

Founded in 2009 by a group of volunteers with the goal of showing the love of Jesus in our community and around the world by the purchase and distribution of fair trade goods.

The Fair Trade Marketplace is a venue for the sale of the work of artisans from around the world who are struggling to overcome poverty and escape slavery by receiving a fair wage in exchange for their craft (“fair trade products”). The FTM is a nonprofit undertaking of Christ-followers that brings hope to those who are systemically oppressed by affirming their God-given value, fulfilling their desire to engage in meaningful life-supporting work, and showing them the gospel of Jesus Christ. One way to show the love and kindness of our Savior is through purchasing the products of those individuals for which they have been paid a fair wage, which the FTM works to make more easily accessible.
