Through the history of the church, small groups have played a vital role. From the time of Christ to today, small groups have changed countless lives and helped the church to grow and reach thousands while at the same time giving the closeness of a well knitted community. Small groups are a source of friendship and support. They are key to developing connections with those who share your interests or people who are dealing with similar life issues. They are where real life-change occurs.
At Community Fellowship Church, we believe that our connection and commitment to other believers is vital. A primary way that we connect people with one another is through informal weekly gatherings known as Life Groups. These groups exist to promote the development of significant spiritual relationships centered around the study of God’s Word. Each week we’ll discuss a portion of God’s Word as it relates to the current sermon, with the goal of learning how to apply and live out our faith in our day-to-day experiences and relationships. You will have opportunity to share what’s happening in your life as well as learn how to care for others through praying, listening, meeting needs, and encouraging or challenging as needed.
Each Life Group will be involved in worship, study, fellowship, mission, and service, though any particular group may have a stronger emphasis on one or two of these.
