Life, Death, Resurrection: The Minister’s Priorities

This article is a great follow-up to my sermon on hope (The Anatomy of Hope). We truly have a great hope in the resurrection, a hope that sustains us in the midst of affliction.

We are to cultivate a taste for physical life on the new earth in our resurrection body—when we’ll not only have a heart undistracted and untempted by the deceitful lusts of sin; when we’ll not only have fully sanctified ambitions and truly godly aspirations; but when, along with those things, we’ll have a physical body that is able to carry out all of those holy impulses without a moment’s distraction or weariness!
